1. Introduction

This policy explains the rules and timelines for cancelling orders, services, or bookings made through ShootingSet’s platforms.


2. Types of Cancellations

a. User-Initiated Cancellation

Users may cancel:

·       Prop rentals

·       Service bookings (e.g. carpenters, helpers)

·       Orders made from vendor catalog

b. Vendor-Initiated Cancellation

Vendors may cancel due to:

·       Unavailability

·       Equipment failure

·       Conflict in booking slots

c. Associate-Initiated Cancellation

Associates (technicians/workers) may cancel:

·       Due to health/emergency

·       Conflicts in schedule

·       Location or client inaccessibility


3. Cancellation Timelines & Charges

4. Auto-Cancellation Conditions

·       Bookings not confirmed within 2 hours = Auto-cancelled

·       Non-payment or pending verification = Auto-cancelled

·       Unavailability confirmed by vendor = Auto-cancelled with full refund


5. Cancellation Procedure

1.   Go to "My Bookings" in the app or portal.

2.   Select "Cancel Booking"

3.   Choose reason from dropdown.

4.   Submit.

Cancellation confirmation and refund (if applicable) are processed automatically.


6. Cancellation Penalties

Repeated cancellations may result in:

·       Temporary suspension

·       Loss of promotional benefits

·       Penalty charge (based on vendor discretion)

·       Reduced visibility of your account


7. Exceptions & Emergency Situations

·       Medical emergency

·       Death in family

·       Government restrictions / lockdowns

·       Weather disruptions

In such cases, full refund may be given with valid proof and documentation.


8. Support for Cancellations

·       Phone Support: Mon–Sat, 10 AM–7 PM IST


9. Policy Updates

This policy may change without prior notice. Latest version is always available on the website and app.


10. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India. All disputes will be subject to Hyderabad jurisdiction.
